The New Balance 1600 has played a role in a couple of packs of late, starting with the Propaganda edition and most recently in the Mugshot pack. This 1994 runner is starting to gain some serious traction, and with the aid of collaborations like UBIQ’s ‘Benjamin’ and the new one pictured above, it’s only a matter of time before this previously obscure silhouette assumes its rightful place among the pantheon of NB classics. Guest designer Oshman’s contributes its own legacy, outfitting the 1600 in navy and black with contrast stitching and golden eyelets. They’re dropping this Saturday in Asia, and apparently Detroit’s Burn Rubber will also have some sizes as well.
