Kevin Durant has reminded his followers a couple of times that he’s “not a sneakerhead”. In fact, leading up to last year’s Air Jordan 11 release he evenly openly wondered where the “Bred” nickname came from. And while some might condemn a man who doesn’t know the ins and outs of sneaker history, its actually sort of refreshing for an athlete to not have to cater to that specific crowd and act like a long-time enthusiast. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t still appreciate Jordans though.
