At the 1989 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, Bo Jackson was the leading vote getter and chosen to hit leadoff for the American League. Jackson watched one of NL starting pitcher Rick Reuschel’s first slider go low for ball 1, then put a golf swing on the second such pitch and drove it twenty rows deep to dead center field. Nike aired the first ‘Bo Knows’ commercial minutes later, which cemented the growing legend of Vincent Jackson and showed off his new Nike Air Trainer SC II High. A quarter century later, the SC II is still going strong, and one of the new colorways we’ll welcome next year is pictured above in black and grey with Volt accents. Sneaker News will keep you posted with release info and you can see more photos below in the meantime.
