The Vans Zapato del Barco brought the boat shoe aesthetic to the world of skateboarding, then Nike SB’s Stefan Janoski signature line took it to new heights. Also looking to elbow its way into this popular space is the New Balance Numeric Brighton 344, a vulc-soled lowtop that like the Janoski, eschews the traditional topsider’s ankle lacing but keeps the familiar saddle shape including a chukka-ish eyestay. Check out beige/black and grey/burgundy pairs in greater detail below, then grab yours at skate shops like MIA.
