One of the bigger “in other news…” headlines in the sporting world was the possibility of a He Got Game sequel. Ray Allen, who will wear the iconic J. Shuttlesworth on the back of his jersey on January 21st, has confirmed discussions with Spike regarding a sequel to the movie – so long as production, the cast, and the script live up to the bill. As you may already know, a major subplot of the film was the collection of sneakers spotted during the movie and the Air Jordan XIII that Jake Shuttlesworth (portrayed by Denzel Washington) purchased.
