The first, and to this point only Air Jordan IX scheduled to release in 2014 is the ‘Birmingham Barons’ colorway.  This one ties in with the timing of Michael Jordan’s first retirement, when he left the Chicago Bulls to play for the White Sox’ minor league system in hopes of hitting the Majors.  Nike proceeded with the Air Jordan line and now we finally have this year that could have been the only four-peat of the modern era along with the colors MJ wore on the diamond that season.  Click through to see them on feet and stick with Sneaker News for a release date.
