The New Balance ‘Barber Shop’ pack already had a 1600 among its Elite Edition trio, but in adding a second, they might have just saved the best for last. Another red New Balance 1600 for the Barber Shop quartet is a tonal mix of suede and leather with the latter in black on the back, the perforated toe and ankle in place of mesh giving these a premium feel. That’s furthered with the embossed leather tongue tags and gum treatment on the top eyelets and outsoles; could this be the single best CM1600 since the model returned to the States a couple years back?
