There has definitely been a bit of confusion this spring with the naming on two of adidas Originals’ retro runner bringbacks. This comes from the fact that both models in question have predecessors with the same name, and that both are fairly generic terms that apply to just about any running shoe. But to make it more clear, it was the Support that returned on the first of February and has the polymer eyelet wing on its medial side (you know, for support), and the adidas EQT Cushion 92 is a spiritual successor to the late ’80s ZX x000 releases with its external heel counter.
