2014 is shaping up to be a transformational year for adidas, particularly the Originals division. Sneaker News has discussed all the new Three Stripes signings, they’re bringing back more and a wider variety of classic models than ever before. And just as Nike Sportswear has had great success in modifying heritage models, we’re starting to see more hybrid or modular concepts come from adidas Originals. Following up on the ZX Flux, the adidas Originals ZX Zero also incorporates the distinctive heel counter shape from the OG ZX line‘s ultimate four-digit models, but otherwise gives us an entirely different shoe with a caged mesh bootie upper and new adiprene tooling. Click in for a closer view, and be ready when the ZX Zero debuts on March 1st.
