The Vans Old Skool came straight out of the factory in 1977 equipped with two-tone colorways plus white on the Jazz Stripes and Waffle soles. So while we’re absolutely familiar with the basic layout of this latest pair, the fact that the entire upper is done in shades of brown will make for a particularly strong reaction from those who know this shoe. It’s all at once old school with the multi-brown suede and canvas certainly resembling the same late 70s era, though it’s equally at home in today’s tonal landscape.
