If you grew up in the 1980s then you’re already familiar with the crazy patterns and aesthetics of the decade in reference to the casual wear in what would be one of the major influences of streetwear culture today. But whereas most would pin Keith Haring as a major influence, the forgotten bunch has to be The Memphis group – a collective of young Milan-based product designers who would challenge structure through their original home furnishings. adidas Originals hasn’t forgotten though as they will reference the group in a collection featuring four classic ZX silhouettes. Featuring an array of patterns ranging froms tripes to numerous textures, standing out in a pair won’t be too difficult.
