In case you missed it, the Kobe 9 Elite Low returned to NIKEiD in a major way this morning, introducing 11 new fade options to the Flyknit upper. This new option features a dual color gradient, starting at the the heel in one shade and working its way to the front toebox in an entirely different hue. The pair has been sought after ever since those HTM iterations surprisingly popped up at Nike Lab in New York City, and the Swoosh was kind enough to grant us all the opportunity to mimic those Multi-Color joints, if only for a brief time.
We took to the site to give you nine Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low renditions inspired from past looks from the Black Mamba’s signature imprint to some PE-like aesthetics that we could be seeing this Fall. Some are from within the Kobe chronicles, while others are brought in from outside sources that blend mellifluously with the silhouette. Check out what we’ve come up with below and get to customizing your pair via NIKEiD.
The NIKEiD Kobe 9 Elite Low Color Fade Options are available now (currently sold out, but save your designs).
BARCELONA
This football-inspired colorway came from the super-limited Kobe 6 release that hit exclusively in Europe.
DUKE
The Duke story continues with this sweet mix of blue and black tones on the silhouette.
HOLLYWOOD NIGHT
We bring to life the sweet black-based Lakers uniforms that the team wore during “Hollywood Night”.
VENICE BEACH
We remixed the colors of the popular Kobe 8 release to give Venice Beach another look.
TEAM USA
Kobe isn’t participating in this year’s FIBA tournament, but these patriotic iDs would look amazing on any of the players’ feet.
CHAOS
Inspired by The Joker, this Chaos theme has become one of the most well-known of the entire Kobe series. It acted as the inspiration of the original “Masterpiece” colorway.
PEACH JAM FINALS
We recently saw a Kobe 9 EM designed for the Nike EYBL Peach Jam Finals. Does it look better with Flyknit?
KO-BRONOLD PALMER
This classic PE from the LeBron 9 Low hits the Kobe 9 Flyknit Low. Better than LeBrons?
LOWER MERION ACES
Bryant’s alma mater gets some love in this sick red and grey colorway.
