So Tinker designs the Nike Air Max 1 and it subsequently releases in 1987, changing the way we look at running silhouettes forever. But do you remember what the second sneaker to release with visible air was after that famed shoe? It was 1988’s Nike Air Stability (or Nike Air Stab for short). The shoe featured two icicles dripping down to cover portions of the visible air, and unfortunately the popularity of the sneaker never caught on until the Swoosh brought it back in 2005. Now the Air Stab will be returning for 2015 after a long enough hiatus. This particular colorway is reminiscent of that Size? collaboration that dropped nearly five years ago.
