The New Balance 998 in question reaches new heights in terms of price tag by introducing a premium Horween leather build to a sneaker that was already pretty premium on account of its Made in USA status, beating out the likes of the 1300 JP and the current New Balance 2040v2 Horween creation in terms of most expensive. There’s still a bit of a wait, as these will officially release at stores like Oneness for $400 on October 1st.
