Sometimes you just have to take heed of Fabolous’s incredibly overlooked advice from 2004 and just Breathe. That’s exactly what the Nike Air Max 1 did (although we can’t pinpoint the Fab inspiration totally) as it underwent some surgery for a breathable mesh upper complete with Tape construction to give us the Nike Air Max 1 Breathe. Fall seems like an odd time to give us three brand new renditions of the silhouette, especially considering the same shoe is going through a sturdier Mid revival, and yet these tonal pairs are here with a keen emphasis on the Tape lines as if to remind us that new tech is indeed involved.
