Scottie Pippen is joining the ranks of Charles Barkley and Penny Hardaway as Nike Basketball signature athletes to get another shoe after over a decade of not being on the hardwood. The revamped yet retro inspiration looks at past models of Scottie’s much overlooked line and gives us his six signature shoe in the Nike Air Pippen 6. After a 6 Rings reference in a Chicago Bulls motif first appeared, the next colorway ditches the Windy City completely for a Midnight Navy take. Pinpointing the exact inspiration is a little bit tricky (we’d call this a Houston Rockets look if only there was a splash of red throughout). With an icy outsole, contrasted and completely translucent outer-shank, an Ice Blue mudguard, and tumbled leather showcasing a dark navy, this pair should definitely turn heads. What do you think?
