BAIT of Diamond Bar, CA has been making steady headlines for their efforts in raising awareness through sneaker collaborations for some of the world’s most pressing issues. Titled the “CruelWorld Initiative”, BAIT has brought an unprecedented level of “giving back”, as their last venture alone raised $20,858 for the Midnight Mission to help the homeless on Skid Row. Their next move towards global relief brings a spotlight on the world’s water crisis that affects thousands of communities, and with Saucony, the West Coast shop places a charitable organization front and center.
The Saucony Shadow 6000 here features a fitting two-toned blue suede upper, with luxurious leather linings and insole for that true premium feel, while the BAIT x Saucony CruelWorld insignia adorn the tongue and insole stamp. Portions of the proceeds of this BAIT-exclusive release will go toward Water.org, a non-profit that works with locally-based partners to implement projects that provide clean water and improved sanitation. The shoes will release at the four BAIT stores as well as on BAITme.com on February 28th (MSRP $150), so head here for full registration info and enjoy the first look here.
