Around the league, the game’s best players are shifting gears and fine-tuning their games as the most rigorous post-season in professional sports waits for an all-out slugfest for an NBA Championship. LeBron James, a fixture in the Playoffs since entering the league, will look to accomplish something he’s never done before – bring the Cavaliers to the final podium. For the first time ever, LeBron James will don an Elite-series Nike signature shoe as a member of the Cleveland Cavailers (remember, the Elite series launched in 2012), and with a completely new roster fighting alongside him, LeBron aims to notch another belt on his case for being the greatest player in the history of the game.
The LeBron 12 was revered for its incredible strength and integrity. Containing a massive force like LeBron James isn’t an easy task, but Nike has managed to achieve new heights with the combination of MegaFuse, Hyperposite, Hex-Zoom, and more. For the Elite, the LeBron 12 underwent a weight-reduction stage by replacing the Posite with a composite wing on the heel and collar (notice the triangular cut-outs). The upper shell is comprised of the same MegaFuse upper, with Flywire locking down the foot at all angles and movements.
