Air Jordan 5 “White/Metallic” – Release Date

Air Jordan 5 White Metallic Release Date 01

The Air Jordan 5 “White/Metallic” returns on April 4th, 2015. The current state of retro Jordans is an eclectic bunch. The whole thought process behind the re-releases is as follows – the brand will give us OG classic on occasion to help celebrate the 30th anniversary (particularly the Air Jordan 1 line-up this year) while other classics get envisioned with additional details (the Air Jordan 10 ‘Chicago’ returns with ’45’ PE stitching to help tell a particular narrative). As for the rest of the releases, Jordan Brand has turned a chapter to bring back Retro+ colorways. These non-original aesthetics from the early 2000s are finding new life for a new audience of kids who don’t necessarily remember these lifestyle looks. This Jordan 5 White Silver takes the whole Black/Metallic motif and flips it, as a pristine white leather replaces the ominous black. Perfect for summer, the silver accents remain as does the 3M tongue.
