It’s clear that the hometown hero reputation is still important to LeBron James, a player who goes about every game like he has something to prove when in fact he’s done enough in his career to end it prematurely and still be regarded as one of the best ever. This upcoming LeBron 12 EXT release pays homage to the city of Akron, Ohio, known as the Rubber City; it features a suede finish on the Hyperposite upper with a rubberized shell comprised of square tiles and little pins that jut out to the atmosphere (a bit like Hellraiser’s Pinhead).
