Breaking a glass backboard is a rarity in today’s game. Whether that has to do with a sturdier construction of ‘glass’ backboards or officials warning players that if they do happen to break the backboard that penalties and fines will be issued – we haven’t seen the spectacular site since the mid-90s when Shaq was wearing Orlando Magic duds. Michael Jordan even went as far to do it in an exhibition game in Italy back in 1986. In honor of the occasion, Jordan brand will be releasing this Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, ditching the red for a bright orange in an homage to the jersey MJ wore during the game.
