Will Derrick Rose make a triumphant return to the court after his latest injury in time to help his team in the playoffs? Chicago Bulls fans certainly hope so. And so does adidas, who definitely wouldn’t mind seeing their star endorser back in the national spotlight in his latest sneaker, the D Rose 5 Boost. This new colorway, that adidas apparently had in the works and ready to go before Derrick fell to injury again, is being dubbed the “Playoffs” edition in a fitting black-based upper constructed in ballistic mesh and glossy synthetic with red speckled accents and a marbled camo outsole. Dropping ahead of the actual playoffs, the “Playoffs” D Rose 5 Boost will launch at select adidas Basketball retailers beginning tomorrow, April 2nd.
