The second annual Air Max Day celebrated the history of visible air by offering up a brand new model in the Nike Air Max Zero, a model that was inspired from one of the initial sketches created by Tinker Hatfield during the creation of the Air Max 1 in 1987. The shoe manages to blend retro aesthetics with modern technology ranging from a bolstered mesh and fuse all the way to the original outsole of the initial Air Max. The shoe dropped in extremely limited numbers and now will expand to select retailers sooner than expected. While shops will be getting the debut Air Max Zero sporadically over the next month, know that Rock City Kicks will be stocking this pair come Saturday, April 4th for $150. You can always try your luck early on eBay.
