Before there was Flyknit, the Nike Sock Dart introduced the world to a sneaker that utilized the first ever computer knitting technology on its upper. That’s right, back in 2004 Nike introduced their Sock Dart creation as the first shoe to boast a knit process with a computerized touch, and not the aesthetic seems more applicable today than ever before. A decade after releasing, people have clambered for the coveted fragment design collaborations, but there’s good news for most of you that missed out on the pair: more general releases are coming in the future. Here we see a muted grey and white pair slated to arrive via NikeLab retailers just in time for summer. Check out more photos below and we’ll keep you updated on an official release date in the coming days.
