2015 is a great year to be a “female sneakerhead”. In late 2014, Jordan Brand promised an extension in the range of sizes for kids-sized footwear to help cover some more ground in terms of desired sizes. Since then, we’ve seen plenty of kids-exclusive colorways of Air Jordan Retros like this clean Air Jordan 5 in grey and a hot lava colorway. It’s come to a point where the number of kids products equals the amount for adults, which does wonders for increasing the youth demographic of Air Jordan loyalists. It’s a shrewd move because despite MJ’s legacy, the younger generation will continue to grow detached to epic moments like the “Flu Game” and the 72-10 season. In any case, look out for these to hit Jordan retailers next Saturday, May 9th.
