What’s with all of the guitar-inspired references atop sneakers lately? There’s New Balance’s Connoisseur Guitar Collection that utilizes colorways inspired by famous guitars complete with guitar pick hangtags. Now the Nike Dunk High is getting in on the grunge. Nike’s thought process is a little bit different than NB’s in that the brand is taking the denim wardrobe style to task on the Dunk model. Here we see a white base while a faded grey denim arrives on the toecap and heel. An olive green is an interesting selection for the high arching collar and tongue, but it works here.
