Jon Jones Simply Can’t Hold Onto A Sneaker Brand Endorsement

Sn Image Na

Jon Jones is one of the greatest athletes that the UFC has ever seen. The guy was simply unbeatable and his value as a global brand and not just an athlete was on the rise. However, in light of recent events involving a hit-and-run accident, the UFC stripped him of his Light Heavyweight title and has suspended him indefinitely, and this morning Reebok terminated its endorsement contract with the athlete, who was active in pushing brand products such as the Zpump and more. In September 2014, Jones and Nike mutually split ways presumably because of his brawl with Daniel Cormier, but Jones later clarified that the move was based on Nike’s brand strategy (in the end, they wanted nothing to do with MMA). So, what’s next for Jones? He himself states that he has some “soul searching” to do, so let’s hope his level of talent doesn’t go to waste.
