The Huarache influence is everywhere. After a decade or more of irrelevance stateside, Nike is really milking Tinker Hatfield’s (happy birthday by the way) 1991 creation in any and all ways possible. One of the more unexpected varieties has been the Nike SB Eric Koston mashup with the Nike Air Huarache. It isn’t the first time that Nike’s skate imprint has turned to the Huarache line to steal a few features away. Paul Rodriguez’s signature line has featured a few Huarache-like aesthetics in its history. Here we see the obvious heel support return while the ventilated side panels keep the status quo of the original Huarache intact. With an obsidian suede tooling throughout, this Nike SB Eric Koston Huarache will be as easy to wear for casual purposes as it will be to skate in. Check out more photos below and be on the lookout for this pair to arrive stateside in the near future.
