Ewing Athletics Confirms Release Date For June Retro Collection

Ewing 33 Hi Frozen Envelope Release Date 1

Ewing Athletics is back, dropping a solid three-shoe collection for June. The Patrick Ewing signature brand turns their attention to the 1985 draft for the sneaker highlighting the collection, the 33 Hi “Frozen Envelope”. Inspired by the NBA conspiracy theory that the ’85 was rigged by David Stern and the NBA by freezing the Knicks’ envelope so he would know which to pick first, the 33 Hi features a white leather upper with red and blue accents, an envelope tab on the ankle strap, “1985” on each heel, and an icy outsoles. Next up is the return of an original 33 Hi in a pristine all-white colorway—falling right in line with the current sneaker trends. The Rogue also returns next month, done up in a Charlotte Hornets inspired purple, teal and black look as a nod to Patrick Ewing’s current position as an Associate Head Coach of the team. All three Ewing sneakers release June 5, 2015 at Ewing Athletics retailers and ewingathletics.com, priced at $120 each.
