The Sneaker That Followed The Asics Gel Lyte III Is Returning

Asics widens their already impressive lineup of retro runners even further with the reintroduction of the Gel Respector. Originally released in 1991, the Respector was in the sweet spot right in between 1990’s Gel Lyte III and 1993’s Gel Lyte V, which as you know, are two of the brand’s most popular retros on the market today. Now it’s the Respector’s turn to shine, debuting in this original colorway featuring a clean blend of grey, white, and black highlighted by Astor Purple and yellow. Preview the reintroduced Gel Respector and expect them available soon at select Asics retailers overseas first, followed by a US release this fall.
