The Nike SB Stefan Janoski has messed around with a number of different materials since its debut, and now can check off Nike Sportswear’s long-time obsession with cork off its list. The Cork Janoskis are available right now, featuring the sturdy material throughout the entirety of the Ale Brown monochromatic upper while a black stitched Swoosh contrasts a clean white vulcanized outsole. The insole is rather peculiar, as a cartoonish coffee mug has the sun peaking out of it and spreading its rays over a water-color backdrop of bright sky blue. The move isn’t totally unexpected as Nike SB‘s latest Flamingo collection featured an attention to detail on the usually unseen portion of a shoe.
