Even The Nike Air Diamond Fury Is Getting the Neon Look

Ken Griffey Jr’s Nike Air Diamond Fury finally came back in the original Seattle Mariners inspired colorway that immediately brought on a wave of backwards ball caps and home run derbies. For whatever reason, the Swoosh has insisted on adding the suffix ’96 to the retro despite the shoe actually releasing in 1994 (perhaps it has to do with the baseball lockout that year). Now the Griffey pair is paying homage to the Neon 95s, as the unique leather panels and mesh base feature a clean white to let the grey and Volt accents grab most of your attention. What do you think of Griffey’s Diamond Fury returning in a new Neon look? Available at spots like Oneness right now for $130.
