2015 is the year we saw the Air Jordan 1 reach new heights with regards to luxury. The $400 “Pinnacle” trim, which featured the original Jordan shoe bossed up in snakeskin/caviar/croc-skin leather and 24k Gold accents, is about to welcome another member – this leather-wrapped version that spurs the golden detailing for stitched leather. Such exquisite craftsmanship is what Jordan fans expected when they heard of the “Remastered” initiative, but sadly these new AJ1s are likely to cost well above the typical Retro and will could be the same $400 in price as the earlier Pinnacle release.
