Nike Almost Made “Royal” Air Max 1s

Did Nike almost make a “Royal” version of Tinker Hatfield’s 1987 classic, the Nike Air Max 1? We all know about the Bred installment that mirrored the infamous “Banned” Air Jordan 1s earlier in the year, and had our fingers crossed that a premium leather variety of the silhouette would pay homage to the other classic AJ1 colorway. That never came to fruition, but this lifestyle inclined women’s exclusive colorway comes awfully close. The upper manages to bring classic sport mesh, leather, and suede together, as the black upper is accented by royal blue suede touches. The grey midsole allows for a Tide Pool Blue to shine on the outsole to add a contrasting hue. What do you think of this Air Max 1?
