Is this the last of the Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle”? Jordan Brand’s $400 version of the classic Air Jordan 1 has definitely caused quite a stir in 2015, whether it be for the price point or for the fact that they actually went and put 24K gold on the model. The Brown Croc rendition is noticeably different from the last three pairs. After starting with snakeskin, the Pinnacle series then moved to a smooth tan leather only to revert back to a synthetic reptilian skin once again. Here you get the best of both worlds as a traditional brown leather allows for the texturized crocodile motif to land on the Swoosh, ankle collar, and heel. Rumors are still swirling about the potential for an Air Jordan 4 “Pinnacle” after a sample preview showed up not too long ago.
