Snakeskin is still a go-to aesthetic for most sneakers in 2015 and it’s a look that the adidas Tubular is already more than familiar with. The silhouette designed to make adidas Y-3 sensibilities more affordable utilized a serpent motif when introducing the model to Primeknit, and now a snakeskin textile is back in an interesting mesh and fuse construction in a simple black and white. The mesh netting takes aim at the scaly texture throughout while the molded toebox gets an almost rubberized feel. This new Tubular pair just hit international retailers so expect a release in the U.S. before winter arrives. More photos below.
