adidas XENO Branches Out To Basketball Models

Adidas Basketball Xeno Iridescent Pack 1

With the success of the iridescent reflective XENO material on adidas orignals models throughout the year, you knew the vibrant tech had to be coming to performance eventually. The wait is finally over, as adidas Basketball unveils the D Rose 6 and D Lillard 1 dressed in XENO detailing. Inspired by the concept of predatory animals hunting in the dead of night, each high performance hoops model comes looking like subtle blacked-out colorways at first, but that all changes when light hits each shoe to reveal the reflective rainbow of colors of the XENO detailing throughout. The result is a look that mimics the reflective and iridescent flash of a predator’s eyes in attack mode at night. Driving home the nocturnal predator concept, the D Rose 6 features a falcon graphic on the sockliner while the D Lillard 1 displays a cheetah graphic on its interior. The adidas Basketball “Iridescent” pack releases on November 27th at select retailers and adidas.com.
