China is getting their very own Air Jordan 5 Low coming Spring 2016. Usually the festive prints and patterns in honor of the year’s Chinese Zodiac sign lands on the most recent batch of Air Jordan models, whether it be the Super.Fly series, Melo’s signatures, or even Chris Paul’s most recent silhouette. 2016 will mark a departure from the standard routine, as the Year of the Monkey will bring the Air Jordan 5 Low “China” and its bold whirling array of waves on the heel and tongue. A simple black base allows for the vibrant splash of colors to make a lasting impact. A darker blue tint hits the translucent outsole for good measure, a look that works perfectly with the highlighted accent of Bright Crimson on the Mustang fighter jet-inspired shark teeth and lace eyelets.
