The Nike Air Safari and Nike Air Max 1 have long-since been connected through the weave of infamous Tinker Hatfield creations. Both silhouettes released in 1987 and aesthetically the constructions of each model are rather similar from the numerous panels and overall shape of the model. Now Safari Print is back on the Air Max 1, this time on one of those new-aged offshoots called the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Essential. There’s an unmistakably Oregon theme running through this colorway, as Kelly Green and Univerity Yellow serve as the main accents while slimmed down mudguard sees a cement Safari Print add a little retro flare. What do you think? Check out more photos below and we’ll keep you updated on a stateside release in the near future.
