The whole ‘KD’s Not Nice‘ was a short-lived campaign by Nike Basketball, but perhaps they’re revisiting that theme with this upcoming Nike KD 8. Sure, Kevin Durant is most likely getting a more vibrant colorway for the NBA’s upcoming Christmas Showcase, but this murdered out KD 8 is perfect for those misbehaving all year. The combination of Black/Black-Dark Grey-Cool Grey is a nice representation of the one gift you don’t want from Santa – lumps of coal. The Flyweave upper exudes the usual array of interlacing lines with Cool Grey and Dark Grey making up most of the upper. The outsole features a marbled pattern for a nice change of pace in what promises to be the simplest colorway of Durant’s eighth signature model yet.
