Vans Celebrates The “Year Of The Monkey” With Three Different Releases

In case you didn’t already know, 2016 is the Year of the Monkey on the Chinese zodiac calendar. As usual, a few sneaker companies celebrate the latest animal year with special releases, including Vans who have this three-shoe “Monkey Rules” collection that includes the Half Cab, and Sk8-Hi in versions for men and women. The Half Cab features the most eye-catching look of the set, as it’s decked out in a multicolored white, blue, red, and orange suede upper, while the men’s Sk8-Hi goes all-red in suede and the women’s Sk8-Hi Slim gets a premium leather build in pink.
