After Chris Paul’s Air Jordan 13 PE saw a release at select retailers, is Carmelo Anthony next? Jordan Brand’s senior-most signature athlete on the hardwood is currently rocking his twelfth model with the brand, but Melo’s retro exclusives have always garnered more attention. This Air Jordan 13 “Nuggets Away” PE was made for Melo back in 2005, but it’s unclear if he ever actually wore the pair, or just kept them on ice. If it was the latter, we can’t blame him given the enticing offering of a black upper that combines mesh and tumbled leather while a vibrant yellow offsets the greenish holographic panther eye inspiration on the branding. Melo’s time in Denver might’ve ended unceremoniously, but sneakerheads know that his time in the mile high city was useful for two things: getting him out of the first round and a number of awesome exclusives.
