Naming a sneaker the Nike Air Entertainer will probably evoke memories of, we don’t know, maybe the only “entertainer” to ever create a signature silhouette with Nike: Kanye West. So is this Nike taking shots at Kanye after his recent #Facts song essentially served as a three and a half minute diss track aimed at the Swoosh? The Entertainer couldn’t be further removed from Kanye’s recent adidas collaborations. Instead, the premium leather upper utilizes subtle raised Swoosh branding and a bolstered mesh forefoot while a classic training outsole from the Nike Air Trainer SC II lends a helping hand. The unique heel construction definitely brings back memories of the Yeezy 2 given the wavy construction while a monochromatic University Red will only bring back memories of October.
