New Balance hits the soccer field for inspiration on the upcoming “Football” pack of three Made in England silhouettes. The UK-made vintage runners featured in the collection include the 577, 1500, and Epic TR, each with matching black and white color schemes crafted in premium leather to reference the predominant style of soccer boots of the 1980s. The black and white leather motif also references New Balance’s most famous footballer of the ’80s and ’90s, Bryan Robson, who wore similar looking black and white cleats on the field. The new Balance Made in England “Football” pack releases at finer New Balance retailers on February 1, 2016.
