Famous Spanish sneaker shop 24 Kilates continues their 10th anniversary celebration in 2016, this time with Le Coq Sportif for a colorful rendition of the R1000. Already dropping the “Virgin Extra” ASICS GEL-Respector, 24 Kilates is back with French sneaker brand Le Coq Sportif for the “Gallo” colorway of the brand’s classic running silhouette. Gallo, which is Spanish for coq—or rooster in English—is the theme of the colorway, featuring the hues of a rooster across the sued and mesh upper. Embossed leather is found on the lateral sides of each shoe, representing the texture of a rooster’s legs and feet. The colorful R1000 will be available January 30th at select Le Coq Sportif stockists globally.
