A Closer Look At The Nike Basketball “All-Star” Collection For Toronto

All Star Nike Basketball 2016

Late last week, Nike Basketball officially unveiled the 2016 NBA All-Star Collection of footwear and apparel. The entire collection is inspired by “sport royalty”, which speaks to Canada’s regal origins as well as the global reach of basketball. You’ll see a variety of colorful aesthetics in this set, all of which are tied to the game of basketball as well as the city of Toronto; the LeBron 13 opts for grey/green the reflect the neutral tones of winter, the Kobe 11 takes on a Northern Lights approach with black and a bright green, the KD 8 features flags of the world with the multi-colored Flyweave upper, the Air Max Audacity features regal crests and patches on the tongue, and the Hyperlive pays homage to the maple leaf with a red upper. The entire Nike Basketball “Sport Royalty” collection for All-Star is scheduled to hit retailers on February 11th, so enjoy this additional look below and stay tuned for a release next Thursday.
