adidas Hoops is back with their annual “Floral City” Collection, a duo that pays homage to spring’s blooming flowers in Portland and greater Illinois atop the likes of the adidas D Lillard 2 and adidas D Rose 6 Boost. Portland is known for their famous rose gardens and annual Rose Festival. adidas captures the magic through the use of a realistic red rose graphic throughout Dame’s second signature silhouette, this time featuring a woven upper with matte black to contrast for a perfect match to his Trailblazers uniform. The pair also utilizes a premium metallic Oak print on the heel with reflective accents throughout. The adidas D Rose 6 Boost “Florist City” is a bit more abstract, as Illinois’ state flower, the violet, is showcased by implementing a deep purple color throughout. Premium touches of gold land on the eyelets, lace loops, and webbing.
