It was easy to forget that last night, the Golden State Warriors broke the Chicago Bulls’ long-standing record of 73 wins, that Steph Curry reached the unthinkable 400 three-pointer mark, and that the sharpshooter and eventual MVP debuted his brand new signature shoe, the Under Armour Curry 2.5. Kobe’s 60 point finale overshadowed all of those events, but Curry ain’t tripping – he’s headed to the Playoffs and it’s likely that he’ll embark on the “second” season wearing the Curry 2.5. The shoes share an identical build to the Curry 2, but the upper features a different material (likely more lightweight) to fit the rigors of the postseason (aka pretty much what Nike introduced with the Elite series). Check out some more photos of Curry in his new shoes below and we’ll let you know when they’ll hit stores.
