The upcoming Rio Olympics will yet again be a great opportunity for the NBA’s best players to have their skills shine one the biggest sports platform. However, a number of notable stars have withdrawn from Olympic competition, with two-time MVP Steph Curry recently publicizing his intent to sit out to nurse a knee injury. Steph joins CP3, Anthony Davis, and a number of other All-Star/Elite players that will forgo the opportunity to represent the USA this Summer, so now the pressure is on LeBron James to lead Team USA once again to another Gold this August. If LeBron joins the fray, you can count on him wearing the LeBron 13 Low “USA” before making way for the LeBron 14, a shoe that will release in September. A release date for this pair hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but it’s safe to expect them on July 2nd, when the KD 9, Kobe 11, and Kyrie 2 all hit stores in patriotic colors.
