As part of the return of the Gazelle, this season, adidas Originals presents the “Remember the Future” campaign, led by the iconic image of supermodel Kate Moss wearing the famous sneaker back in 1993. No image could be more appropriate for the return of the early-90s iteration of the Gazelle than Kate wearing her favorite shoe, which was the inspiration for artist Doug Abraham AKA @bessnyc4 for a “hacked” interpretation of the photo. Aiming to create a re-appropriation of fashion and the collective memory of pop culture imagery to reinvent a new visual commentary, Abraham leads the Remember the Future campaign with a video presentation of the Kate Moss image, which can be viewed below. You can find the adidas Originals Gazelle in stores now.
